As the snow piles up in the capital, Jerusalemites head out to enjoy their frosted flakes before the city turns into a slushy mess
Several inches of snow fell in Jerusalem from midday Wednesday into Thursday, blanketing the city in white. The event, which only happens once every few years, brought the capital to a halt, and turned the city into a massive playground for lovers of snow. From the white-capped Dome of the Rock to slush covered light train tracks, Jerusalem of gold has become a photogenic Jerusalem of white.
