Bearded Bennett unapologetic

Jewish Home party leader Naftali Bennett really, really doesn’t want you to apologize.

In a new Jewish Home campaign video, which was first uploaded to YouTube Tuesday, a man dressed as either an aging hipster or an unemployed lumberjack repeatedly begs random Tel Avivians for forgiveness, though in each case it is clearly they who are in the wrong, not he.

The bespectacled beardo says sorry when a waitress spills his coffee, expresses remorse to a fellow driver who slammed into his car, and is repentant when a woman cuts him in line for a public bike. He can even be seen nodding his head in agreement as he reads an op-ed in the Haaretz daily titled “Israel should apologize.”

But then the man suddenly sheds his burly attire, revealing none other then Bennett himself. “From now on, we must stop apologizing,” he urges the viewer as he removes his glasses.

The screen then blackens, and a message appears.

“Stop apologizing, love Israel, become a member of the Jewish Home party,” it says.
