IDF soldiers shoot Palestinian who threw a bomb at troops in West Bank

Explosive device thrown at soldiers from passing vehicle near Jalemeh crossing, no casualties among Israeli troops

The Israel Defense Forces said early Friday that soldiers had opened fire and hit a Palestinian who threw an explosive device at troops in the West Bank.

The military said the device was thrown from a passing vehicle at an IDF patrol at the Jalameh crossing near the town of Jenin.

The army said the man had been hit, but did not indicate his condition.

There were no casualties reported among the Israeli soldiers.
