Israeli soldiers arrested two Palestinians who crossed the border fence from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip into Israel, the Israeli military said on Sunday.
The two were apprehended immediately after entering Israeli territory from southern Gaza, and were transferred to security authorities for questioning.
The men were unarmed, the IDF said.
The border fence contains a bevy of sensors and cameras to support the large number of soldiers who regularly patrol the area. Infiltrators are typically caught within moments.
