Jerusalem police arrest four over racist assault on Arab youths

Victims allegedly attacked at a park in the capital earlier in the week

Police arrested four Jewish residents of Jerusalem on Tuesday on suspicion that they assaulted Arab youths at a public park in the capital earlier this week.

All of the victims are residents of the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Safafa.

The four suspects, three in their twenties and the fourth aged 16, are being investigated on suspicion of racist assault, police said.

A fifth suspect in the attack was detained shortly after the incident.
