Join the ToI Community for a shakin’ shakshuka master class with Chef Harry
In a ToI Community exclusive live cooking class, Harry will teach you how to make the Israeli breakfast classic that’s taken the world by storm

In a new special edition of Israel Unlocked, we crack open an Israeli breakfast classic that’s perfect anytime.
Please join us this Tuesday, February 2, for chef and culinary guide Harry Rubenstein’s Virtual Master Class on shakshuka — exclusive for the Times of Israel Community.
Shakshuka is a tasty and healthy dish of spicy tomato and eggs served piping hot right in the pan. It is an iconic Israeli comfort food — and has recently taken the world by storm, appearing on breakfast tables from Los Angeles to Paris.
Learn how to whip up the perfect pan with Rubenstein, a pastry chef, culinary guide, storyteller, outdoor market obsessive and a self-proclaimed expert on Jewish baked goods — sweet and savory. You can find him at harrysbaked.com and @harrysbaked on Instagram.
He’s been shopping and eating at Israel’s markets for over 20 years, and is happy to share his experience in this hands-on virtual seminar that will help you perfect a shakshuka that tastes like it came direct from the Holy Land every time.
