Cabinet approves cutting payment to PA by $43 million over terror stipends
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe security cabinet approves Defense Minister Naftali Bennett’s proposal to deduct NIS 150 million ($43 million) from the money Israel transfers to the Palestinian Authority.
The amount matches the sum the PA is expected to pay terror convicts in Israeli jails and families of Palestinian terrorists in monthly salaries — an issue over which Israel has made similar deductions in the past.
