Car crashes into bakery, toppling doughnut trays ahead of Hanukkah
A driver crashes her car into a bakery in Rishon Lezion, toppling displays of doughnuts and pastries but not harming anyone in the store.
“Shelves collapsed and doughnuts flew through the air,” says one eyewitness.
Most bakeries across Israel are packed with doughnuts, known as sufganiyot, a traditional treat for Hanukkah, which begins tonight.
