Corbyn names author of anti-Semitism report as shadow A-G
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn names the author of a controversial report into anti-Semitism in his party as his new shadow attorney-general.
This is the second time that Corbyn has singled out Shami Chakrabarti in the wake of the report, which was widely derided by British Jewish leaders as “beyond disappointing.”
In August, the human rights lawyer also received a peerage, and was the sole person recommended for an honor by Corbyn.
