Fewer than 100 new virus cases in single day
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Health Ministry says the number of coronavirus infections has reached 19,055, recording 83 cases since Saturday evening.
The figures mark the first time since June 6 that the number of new daily infections has dropped below 100, sparking hopes that a second wave of infections may be slowing.
No new deaths are recorded. There are 33 patients in serious condition, with 24 of them on ventilators, the ministry says.
