France proposes Netanyahu-Abbas talks in Paris
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFrench Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius is trying to set up a meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas in Paris, the Haaretz daily reports.
The move is part of current international efforts to stem the ongoing violence between Israel and Palestinians.
An Israeli official says Netanyahu was immediately responsive to the idea, while Abbas has yet to reply.
