IDF chief upholds appointment of military rabbi
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot upholds the appointment of Rabbi Col. Eyal Karim to head the military rabbinate.
Karim has been criticized for several days for various past remarks, including that women’s enlistment is “entirely forbidden” and a statement from over a decade ago that appeared to imply that rape during wartime could be justified.
