Israeli wins bronze in world judo tourney
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli judo fighter Golan Polack wins the bronze medal in the world championship in Kazakhstan, after overcoming a Mongolian opponent just seconds before the buzzer, Army Radio reports.
Polack won five fights during the day’s tournaments and only lost one battle during the semifinals. His medal is the first won by the Israeli delegation in the current championship.
Polack is 23 years old.
