Jerusalem mayor hails White House announcement
Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat praises Trump for his “historic announcement” that the administration was in the very beginning stages of discussing moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. “We will offer them all the assistance necessary,” the mayor says in a statement.
“Trump proves that he’s a true friend. The US has sent a message to the world that it recognizes Jerusalem as the united capital of Israel.”
