Netanyahu invokes ‘terrible pain’ of learning of his brother’s death
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNetanyahu turns to the families of the hostages, “whose loved ones were killed in or after the operation,” and says that just as they experienced “terrible pain,” so did he upon learning that his brother had been killed.
He says that despite the terrible price, the operation was a success and boosted Israel’s reputation.
He says it offers a lesson for the present day, when the world is still challenged by terrorism.
