The opposition wraps up one of its most successful legislative sessions since the start of the 24th Knesset last year.
In today’s session, it managed to advance 13 pieces of legislation through preliminary votes, thanks to dysfunction in the coalition, which was forced to pull its legislative efforts and send its lawmakers home for the day due to a lack of a majority in the plenum.
Blue and White is boycotting votes due to disagreements with other coalition parties regarding a bill it backs to regulate pensions for IDF career officers.
