Palestinian woman held for attempted stabbing
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBorder Police arrest a Palestinian woman who allegedly threatened them with a knife at a checkpoint near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, police say.
During a security check, the woman took a knife out of her bag and “threatened to carry out a stabbing attack” against the officers, according to police.
Using pepper spray, the officers overpower the woman and place her under arrest.
No one is hurt in the incident.
The woman’s identity is not yet known, but she is being held at a nearby police station for interrogation, police say.
