Quartet delegation to arrive Wednesday
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA delegation of the Quartet on the Middle East — comprised of the UN, the US, the EU and Russia — is set to arrive in Israel on Wednesday, Channel 2 reports.
According to the report, the delegation will sit down for talks with both Israeli and Palestinian officials in a bid to calm recent tensions which have persisted for weeks.
The Quartet was led by former British PM Tony Blair for several years before he resigned this past May.
