Romania joins Israel, US and UK in blaming Iran for deadly attack on ship

Romania pins responsibility on Iran for a drone attack on an Israeli-operated ship that killed one of its citizens and a UK national, following Israel, America and Britain in blaming the Islamic Republic for the strike.

“There is no justification whatsoever 4 deliberately attacking civilians. We continue 2 coordinate w/our partners 4 an appropriate response,” Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu tweets.

The Iranian ambassador was summoned to the foreign ministry in Bucharest, according to Romania’s national news agency.
