Russian forces on the ground in Syria, bloggers claim
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThree Russian soldiers or ex-soldiers were photographed near the cities of Aleppo and Homs in Syria, several Russian bloggers claim on social media, according to Reuters.
The report is still unconfirmed. Ground forces have never yet been deployed by the Russian army in Syria since launching a military campaign against rebel forces in the country several weeks ago.
