Schlissel to be tested for fitness to be tried
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Jerusalem District Court orders psychiatric evaluation for Yishai Schlissel, the apparent perpetrator of the Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade stabbing which left one dead and five injured.
Schlissel is to be hospitalized, and his remand was extended by an additional 10 days, in order to determine whether he’s fit to stand trial and whether he’s responsible for his actions.
He’ll be under observation for 48 hours, Ynet reports.
