Second death threat letter leveled at justice

Supreme Court Judge Anat Baron has received a second death threat letter, Channel 13 news reports.

The letter contains “clear threats on her life,” the channel reports.

Police are investigating and believe the threats to be involved with a case related to state matters and not a criminal case, the channel reports.

On Sunday morning, the court said Baron had received a threatning letter, linking it to “continuous unbridled incitement” against the courts.

Baron is a liberal-leaning judge who supported many rulings that have angered Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing base.

Among recent cases she ruled on was one blocking the demolition of the home of an alleged terrorist.
