Signs for gender-segregated streets in Bnei Brak reportedly removed after uproar
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSigns in Bnei Brak dividing passages in certain streets by gender have been removed following pushback over the initiative, Hebrew media say.
The signs had gone up earlier this week after reports that the Bnei Brak municipality is working to establish gender-segregated sidewalks inside the largely ultra-Orthodox city.
