Strike delays decision on Katsav parole

A decision on parole for disgraced former president Moshe Katsav is being delayed due to a strike by court officials.

According to Channel 10, a decision should have been taken at the start of next week on whether to grant early release to Katsav, who is currently serving a seven-year sentence for rape and other offenses.

A new date to discuss the parole has not yet been set, Channel 10 says. The strike has been going on for more than two weeks.
