Three Egged buses burned in Shfaram, company chief says will boost security

Three buses belonging to the Egged bus company were burned in the Arab town of Shfaram overnight.

Egged CEO Avi Friedman says the company will boost security at its parking sites to prevent such events from recurring.

“We are a part of Israeli society, we have workers of all stripes, Christians, Arabs, Circassians, and we’ll do everything to maintain social cohesion,” Friedman says. “We have no choice as a society and a people but to maintain coexistence.”
