UN chief says religious rights in Jerusalem ‘equal’ for all religions
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres tells Israel’s Channel 2 he believes religious privileges in Jerusalem are “equal” for all three monotheistic religions.
Asked about Jewish connections to Jerusalem in the wake of several resolutions by the UN’s cultural agency that ignored Jewish ties to the holy city, Guterres says, in his view, Muslims, Christians, and Jews have equal religious rights.
