US issues new Iran-related sanctions targeting tankers

The United States issues another round of Iran-related sanctions, targeting eight tankers and 10 entities, according to a notice posted on the US Department of Treasury’s website.
Six of the entities targeted today are based in China, according to the notice.
The sanctions come after US President Donald Trump earlier today vowed to hit Iran hard, according to an interview with Fox News, after the US military said it had intercepted multiple ballistic missiles launched by Iran toward American forces in the Middle East.
