White House says Baratz apology ‘was warranted’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWhite House spokesman Josh Earnest says the apology of newly appointed PMO media adviser Ran Baratz over remarks he made concerning US President Obama “was warranted.”
Earnest adds that ultimately, Prime Minister Netanyahu will be the one to decide who will work for him.
Shortly after Baratz was tapped as media adviser and head of public diplomacy and media in the PMO, a slew of his controversial comments came to light, including Facebook posts in which he mocked President Rivlin as a “marginal figure,” and accused Obama of anti-Semitism.
