A man aged around 25 died Saturday morning at Tel Aviv’s Geula Beach. He was not immediately identified. His body was sent to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute.
The Magen David Adom emergency services were called after the man’s body was spotted floating in the water.
Paramedic Nimrod Shani said: “When we arrived on the scene, we saw a young man aged around 25 years old on the shoreline, unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. We performed medical tests, and determined his death after we failed to find signs of life.”
Police collected witness statements and opened an investigation.
On Friday, a 50-year-old man drowned at Givat Ha’aliyah Beach in Jaffa.
