Man found shot dead in Pardes Hanna in suspected gang killing

Unidentified man, around 30 years old, discovered near cemetery; MDA paramedics pronounce him dead at the scene

A man around 30 was found shot to death near the northern town of Pardes Hanna on Sunday night, in what police are investigating as a possible organized-crime-related homicide.

The man’s identity was not immediately known.

Magen David Adom received a report around 11:45 p.m. that a man had been found unconscious in farmland next to the Pardes Hanna cemetery, MDA said in a statement.

The group’s paramedics reported a man around age 30 without signs of life, and pronounced him dead, the statement said.

The suspected murder comes just days after two brothers from the Arab Israeli town of Jisr az-Zarqa were shot to death near the Pardes Hanna-Karkur grocery store at which they worked.
