Police scour Rehovot for man suspected of raping 15-year-old cyclist
Young man allegedly stopped teen who was riding her bike at dawn and brutally assaulted her in a secluded area

Police were scouring Rehovot on Thursday for a young man suspected of raping a 15-year-old girl in the early morning hours as she was riding her bike.
Initial findings showed that the girl was attacked at dawn during her daily bike ride by a young man who police suspect was inebriated.
The man is suspected of having stopped her and dragged her to a secluded spot off the bike path, where he brutally attacked, stripped and raped her. He then fled the scene.
Police were still searching for the suspected attacker.
The girl was sent to the hospital for checkups.
