Motorcyclist killed after colliding with car at Tel Aviv intersection
Man in his 40s dies shortly after arrival at hospital; police initially suspected shooting, but hospital says man died of head injuries, no evidence of bullet wound

A motorcycle rider was killed Sunday after crashing into a car in Tel Aviv, police and medics said.
Paramedics called to the scene at the intersection of Namir Road and Einstein Street found the man, in his 40s, lying on the road semi-conscious with serious injuries, the Magen David Ambulance service said in a statement.
He was taken in serious and unstable condition to Ichilov Medical Center, where he succumbed to his head wounds, according to doctors.
The man was a rider for Wolt, the home food delivery service, according to media reports.
Police opened an investigation into the incident, and were investigating if the man was hurt by gunfire. Ichilov Hospital said in a statement they found no evidence the man was shot. It was not immediately clear why police suspected foul play.
According to the Israel National Road Authority, 120 people have been killed on the country’s roads since the beginning of the year.
