A motorcycle rider was killed Sunday after crashing into a car in Tel Aviv, police and medics said.
Paramedics called to the scene at the intersection of Namir Road and Einstein Street found the man, in his 40s, lying on the road semi-conscious with serious injuries, the Magen David Ambulance service said in a statement.
He was taken in serious and unstable condition to Ichilov Medical Center, where he succumbed to his head wounds, according to doctors.
The man was a rider for Wolt, the home food delivery service, according to media reports.
Police opened an investigation into the incident, and were investigating if the man was hurt by gunfire. Ichilov Hospital said in a statement they found no evidence the man was shot. It was not immediately clear why police suspected foul play.
