Petah Tikva man fatally stabbed in home; son arrested

Police investigating apparent murder of 71-year-old resident of central city

A resident of the central city of Petah Tikva has been arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing his father, aged 71, on Wednesday.

The alleged murder occurred in the father’s home in the city.

The suspect, 46, has not been identified.

According to the Walla news site, the victim’s wife was present during the killing.

No further details were immediately available on the circumstances of the apparent murder.
