A bomb concealed under some bushes was found in Tel Aviv Sunday in what police said was a criminal incident rather than an attempted terror attack.

A police sapper was working at the scene to defuse the explosive.

A police spokesperson said the area around Tzvi Tzur Street where the bomb was found was closed for the public’s safety.

Police were treating the incident as criminally motivated and have opened an investigation, the spokesperson said.
