Rishon Lezion teen killed in stabbing, suspect arrested
15-year-old taken to hospital in critical condition but dies several hours later; stabbing reportedly occurred during brawl

A 15-year-old boy died Friday several hours after being stabbed in the central city of Rishon Lezion.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service said the boy was seriously hurt in the stabbing late Thursday and described his condition as unstable. He was taken to the local Assaf Harofeh Medical Center.
The hospital reported that the boy arrived in critical condition and died several hours later despite the efforts of doctors to save him.
Police arrested a suspect, a Rishon Lezion resident in his 20s.
He was due to appear at court Friday for a remand hearing.
The stabbing occurred during a brawl, according to Channel 12 news.
