ATV driver runs over two female teens and flees
Suspect allegedly hit victims deliberately after they yelled at him for flinging sand on them
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe driver of an ATV (all-terrain vehicle) is suspected of intentionally running over two teenage girls in the open hills surrounding Givat Brenner in the Central District overnight Friday.
The girls, aged 19 and 15, were seriously injured and rushed to nearby Kaplan hospital in Rehovot.
The victims allegedly yelled at the driver after he flung sand on them with his ATV, to which he responded by running them over.
Police combed the area in search of the suspect, who fled the scene. They called on him to turn himself in.
