Police raid walled marijuana farm
Three suspects taken in, along with 12,00 plants said to be worth millions of shekels

Police last week raided a walled marijuana farm in Israel’s central region and uncovered some three and a half tons of cannabis estimated to be worth millions of shekels.
After police received preliminary intelligence regarding the growing facility, officers were dispatched to stake out the site overnight Monday.
During the night, the officers spotted three men who came to work in the farm.
The three were arrested and the marijuana was confiscated.
Police said the plantation included some 12,000 plants.
Although medical marijuana is legal in Israel, the prohibition against recreational use is strictly enforced.
