Things got awkward on a Channel 2 morning show Monday when popular Israeli model and reality TV star Galit Gutman threw her co-host, Yoav Limor, under the bus by revealing on the air that during a commercial break he had said that the show’s news reader “looks like she walked out of an S&M club.”
The video of the revelation, posted to YouTube on December 9, quickly went viral in Israel, garnering over 60,000 views as of Wednesday morning.
Channel 2 posted the video on its website and daily Yedioth Ahronoth picked up the story.
Apparently Galit Gutman, 41, didn’t realize that Limor’s offhand comment during the break about Tali Metz’s all-black wardrobe wasn’t meant for public consumption.

She told the mortified Metz (and the viewers) that Limor had given her permission to repeat his comments, driving Limor to bury his face in his palms in visible consternation.

Gutman, in addition to hosting the morning show, has long been one of Israel’s premier models.
She has also hosted her own reality television show “Dugmaniot” (“Models”) — an Israeli equivalent of “America’s Next Top Model” — and played a recurring character in the ’90s Israeli soap “Ramat Aviv Gimel.”
