Police on Tuesday arrested a resident of the coastal city of Bat Yam on suspicion that he had sexually explicit conversations on the internet with minors.
The 39-year-old is also suspected of having sent sexually inappropriate pictures to minors.
During a search of his home, police confiscated the suspect’s personal computer, police said.
He is set to be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for a hearing on the extension of his remand.
Police on Tuesday also arrested a resident of central Israel on suspicion of groping two minors at a water park in the Tel Aviv suburb of Holon.

The suspect was arrested after one of the boys complained to security that he had been followed by the man to the dressing room, saying that he was touched by the 51-year-old while swimming in one of the pools at the Yamit 2000 water park.
After the man was detained by security, another boy complained of being inappropriately touched by the man.
The suspect is also set to be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for a remand hearing.
