Model and activist Bella Hadid unleashed a series of Instagram posts this week slamming new Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

Hadid, who was born in the United States to a Palestinian father, shared heavy criticism of Bennett with her 43 million Instagram influencers on Monday and Tuesday.

“If you know anything about [former prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu, you know that Bennett isn’t any better,” she wrote in a story sharing a post about Bennett from the account “Let’s Talk Palestine.” Hadid added: “This is a lose/lose for all parties involved.”

The post from “Let’s Talk Palestine” accused Ra’am Party leader Mansour Abbas, who made history in joining the coalition led by Bennett, of betraying his people: “Rather than uplift Palestinians, Abbas has become part of the apartheid regime killing and expelling them.” The post goes on to say that Bennett “will continue the state’s brutal apartheid regime, and pursue similar policies of colonialism, ethnonationalism and persecution.”

Hadid also shared a quote attributed to Bennett where he allegedly said: “I’ve killed a lot of Arabs in my life and there’s no problem with that.” Hadid wrote: “It’s almost unbelievable. Just sad really. Just plain sad.”

Hadid and her sister, Gigi, who are both famous supermodels and Instagram influencers, were sharply critical of Israel during last month’s Gaza conflict.

Bella shared posts accusing Israel of apartheid and alleging that Israel carries out “crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution.” She also wrote that the conflict “is about Israeli colonization, ethnic cleansing, military occupation and apartheid over the Palestinian people that has been going on for YEARS!”

Gigi, who has 66 million Instagram followers, wrote during the recent flare-up that: “One cannot advocate for racial equality, LGBT & women’s rights, condemn corrupt & abusive regimes and other injustices yet choose to ignore the Palestinian oppression.”
