Ex-head of narcotics division grabbed as he and his gang were allegedly poised to rob house in Bat Yam

A retired senior police officer was arrested Thursday on suspicion of burglary.

Detectives from the Ayalon district apprehended the former policeman along with his partners as they were allegedly about to rob a house in Bat Yam, Ynet reported on Thursday.

The officer served in the past as head of the narcotics division of the Israel Police, central unit.
