Khaled Kabub sworn in as Supreme Court’s first Muslim judge

Judge Khaled Kabub has become the first Muslim appointed to Israel’s Supreme Court.
Kabub enters the post alongside some 80 other judges who are being sworn in to various court positions today.
The 64-year-old Kabub takes the place of retiring justice Neal Hendel.
In 2018 Kabub sought the post but eventually withdrew his candidacy, reportedly after realizing he had no realistic chance of being appointed.
