Acid leak at southern Israel train station

Sulfuric acid leaked at the Nevatim train station in southern Israel this evening, Hebrew-language website NRG reports.

Firefighters arrived at the scene east of Beersheba and managed to completely contain the corrosive substance.

They are cooperating with staff at the station to seal the source of the leak.
