Amona residents to High Court: We are committed to non-violence

Amona residents tell the High Court that they are fully committed to non-violence during the evacuation of the West Bank outpost, which is built on private Palestinian land.

The fresh commitment comes after the court earlier today rejected a pledge for a peaceful evacuation, saying it did not go far enough to reassure the justices that there would be no violence whether or not the state succeeds in its bid to delay the December 25 deadline.
