French firefighting aircraft arrives in Israel

A French firefighting aircraft arrives in Israel to help battle a wave of blazes across the country.

Two more aircraft are expected later tonight, the Israeli Air Force says.

Israel’s ambassador to France, Aliza Ben Noun, issued a thank you message to France on Twitter, posting pictures of the planes.
