Hardline Islamist party calls for calm, more time
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEgyptian Islamist group Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, which carried out an armed insurgency against the Mubarak government in the 1990s, says more time is needed to solve the political crisis and urged its followers to remain calm.
“Getting through the current crisis requires more time, so the parties and political forces can reach a complete agreement,” they said in a statement, according to Reuters.
