IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held situational assessments this weekend in light of the protests in Iran, The Times of Israel has learned.
The IDF is said to be treating the escalating anti-regime protests as an internal Iranian matter.
But, following Iranian threats today to attack US and Israeli targets, the military is said to be staying operationally prepared and ready to respond if necessary
