Intel confirms buying Israeli car tech firm Mobileye for $15 bn
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS computer chip giant Intel has agreed to buy Israeli car technology firm Mobileye in a deal worth more than $15 billion, the companies say in a statement today.
Israeli media reports that the deal is the largest ever acquisition for an Israeli tech firm. Intel and Mobileye have been collaborating with German automaker BMW to develop self-driving cars.
