Iran has suspended flights at the capital’s main international airport Imam Khomeini after loud blasts were heard around Tehran, state TV reports.

“Flights from Imam Khomeini Airport have for now been suspended,” state TV reports, citing the airport’s public relations department.

The announcement comes after Israel launched a major strike on Iran’s nuclear program.
