Israel intercepts fabric for army uniforms en route to Gaza
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsraeli authorities at a crossing to the Gaza Strip confiscate a large delivery of fabric that, according to suspicions, was to be used by the Strip’s Hamas rulers to make military fatigues.
According to the IDF, while some of the fatigues would be used by Hamas for its own armed forces in Gaza, others were to be delivered to affiliates of the radical Islamic State group in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula.
An investigation has been opened into the suspected smugglers.
